CECA sponsors Global Forgiveness Day annually on August 27. This celebration creates community awareness of our responsibilities to each other. It is intended to foster communication, reduce intolerance, and promote peace.

    AIDS Vancouver organizes it's annual cycling marathon to raise support for continued AIDS research. CECA has sponsored participation in this event because it believes in supporting both individuals and people groups in need. AIDS research is continuing to make progress and by uniting behind the effort, a cure will be found.

    CECA has had the opportunity of funding a new primary school library recently completed in Zambia. Approximately 300 books were purchased to provide literature for early-childhood education. The children have sent this photograph in appreciation

     

     

    CECA has also been fortunate to cosponsored an African Children's Choir Concert. This choir of children from various African countries travel across North America and Europe to raise support for schools and orphanages in their home countries providing funding for more than 5000 children.
